Rewilding Nutrition | re· wild: (verb)
to return to a more natural or wild state | to make or become natural or wild again
In nutrition, “rewild” refers to the concept of returning to a more natural, whole-foods-based diet, one that aligns more closely with how our ancestors might have eaten, before industrialization and the mass production of processed foods. It draws on the idea of reconnecting with traditional, sustainable eating practices that support both human health and environmental well-being.

Hi, I’m Jordan Zigler.
Welcome! My husband, daughter, and I lived in Peru (my husband is native to Peru, my daughter has dual citizenship, and I lived there for 7 years), but we now live in Northern Colorado. I was originally interested in medicine in high school and had plans to attend medical school. Long story short, I visited Argentina in a study abroad program and decided that medicine was not for me and went the non-profit route for 8 years, which led me to Peru.
When the pandemic hit, my spark for health was re-ignited, and that is when I decided that I wanted to study nutrition. I received my certification through the Nutritional Therapy Association and continued my education with Restorative Wellness Solutions, where I now have a Level 1 Certificate in Gastrointestinal Healing.
On a lighter note, I’m that girl who cannot choose between the mountains and the beach, there is always a time and place for both! I love hiking and breathing the fresh air in the mountains but I love the feel of sand under my feet and the sun on my skin.
I truly have a passion for educating everyone about ways to support a healthier body by nourishing it with real, nutrient-dense foods. Eating “healthy” isn’t about eating boring foods or restricting yourself from specific food groups, it can be delicious and should produce joy. But first, we have to peel back the layers and dig deep to reset our gut health and our mental health around food because there have been years of destroying the gut from eating processed foods and destroying the mind from being told what not to eat.

My Approach
The Pillars for Health
Relationship with Food
Some people view food as fuel, others as comfort, and for many, it’s deeply intertwined with memories, traditions, and self-care.
Bio-individual Approach
Each person’s body is unique, with different needs, sensitivities, and responses to food. I will encourage experimentation and listening to your own body’s signals, rather than following generalized dietary trends.
Eat Real Food
Labels are confusing, but let’s start with a foundational question. Could your food have been grown or raised?
Truly Living
Imagine a life where you have full energy, can think clearly, and enjoy the human experience.
